An understanding of joy beyond happiness,
A pure peace that may plant itself deep.
Cultivate it with a view into the past,
Yet promises of future rewards do you reap.
Only those that have an ear do hear it,
A ringing from the shouts of Hallelujah in your ear.
Rejoicing for the lamb that has become the lamp,
Allow for the shepherd to begin the shear.
Though the whisper stays constant and peaceful,
The clarity of the sound becomes more distinct.
Studying and edifying from the word,
Allows for you and God to be more in sync.
It may look like a fragile foundation,
Like each step is held by hopes or dreams.
Yet by the time a foot finds placement,
The foundation is permanent, not as it seems.
Find encouragement for yourself to hope,
Keep pursuing an abundance of life.
Know that it does not rest in a single thing,
Nor in your house, your land, children or wife.
Yet compounding those blessings if you have them,
Count each that you may for confirmation, too.
Being grateful for what becomes a lifestyle,
It's as important to the runner as the shoe.
A sense of knowing love is possible ,
It was available once the spark of life within.
With the free will we are allotted,
Charity covers a multitube of sins.
Walk on the whisper that confirmed His presence,
God reveals Himself in ways that only we can know.
Allow our tears that fall to water the seeds of faith,
Let us be pruned, perfected to God's will, to grow.
